Photography - Weston

On Wednesday 9th November 2016 I walked along the coast of Weston-Super-Mare. The American Election had taken place the day before and I had woken up to the results.

I looked out into the sea. I saw stone chairs looking back towards me. I didn't know which of us was looking in the right direction.

The photographs were taken on a 3mp smart phone camera that I bought for £10. I wanted to explore the way we document holiday towns, such as Weston-Super-Mare, with our access to digital technology. The images explore the beauty of the low-quality image.
